SEAT Presents The New Urban Model: The SEAT Mii
SEAT presented yesterday in Madrid the new model of the company, the SEAT Mii, which will be available in Spain from November, and in Europe in the spring of next year.The Mii SEAT will be released with two different petrol engines 1.0L of displacement and 60 and 75hp of power. It is also expected that in 2012 these two engines incorporate the Ecomotive version, more environmentally friendly with a consumption of only 4.2 liters of medium and CO2 emissions of 97g/km. In addition, this version also incorporates the Start / Stop.
The new SEAT Mii incorporates two technological developments:
- Brake Assistant Town: Circling at a speed less than 30km / h, the wizard will detect the obstacles placed in front of the vehicle and automatically activate the brakes if you anticipate that a collision is possible.
- Portable System-SEAT (PYD): A revolutionary touch-screen system where indicated on the gear used at all times and display the counter. It also has GPS, bluetooth and offers the possibility to display the information from the onboard computer and radio CD-MP3.
In addition, the new model also incorporates the Speed ??Control and Rear Parking Sensor that will make us easier to ride and above all, the parking lot.
The SEAT Mii, which is manufactured at the plant that the Volkswagen Group in Bratislava, will ship with a base price of € 8,690 and will have four different versions: Style, Style Sport Style Chic and Reference. The latter two will be available from spring next year.
Paul Sevin, commercial vice president of SEAT, announced that this model is part of SEAT’s business strategy, which plans to launch four new models during 2012, one in each quarter. He also noted that with this model, SEAT is intended to fight for market share in this type of urban vehicles, which were not on the market a new model since leaving the SEAT Arosa.
